About Artificial Reality
The reality behind AI adoption
Artificial Reality is an independent media company covering how artificial intelligence is actually being adopted across industries.
My reporting starts with the people buying and using the technology: business owners, executives, and operators working across hospitality, healthcare and wellness, construction, professional services, communications, restaurants, travel, and other sectors of the economy.
I ask three questions:
What's working?
The AI tools operators actually use, pay for, and trust.
What's broken?
Where today's products fall short in real business workflows.
What still needs to be built?
The problems operators would pay to have solved next.
The result is a view of the AI market from the demand side—not just what technology companies are building, but what businesses are actually adopting.
My Reporting
Artificial Reality publishes original interviews, industry reporting, product intelligence, and analysis drawn from conversations with operators deploying AI in their businesses.
Coverage includes:
Stories — First-person conversations with business owners and executives about how AI is changing their work.
Industry Intelligence — Reporting on what's working, what's failing, and what's emerging within individual industries.
AI Product Requests — Problems and capabilities operators say they want technology companies to solve.
AI Tools — Independent analysis of products that may address needs identified through my reporting.
Across Industries — Patterns that emerge when similar problems appear in otherwise unrelated businesses.
Every interview becomes part of a growing record of AI adoption from the buyer's perspective.
Why Artificial Reality Exists
The AI industry has no shortage of predictions about what the technology will eventually do.
I’m interested in what happens after the demo.
What gets purchased? What makes it into a real workflow? What gets abandoned? Where does human judgment remain essential? What do operators keep trying to do that today's products still can't handle?
Those answers often exist inside individual businesses long before they appear in industry reports.
Artificial Reality documents them.
Editorial Approach
My primary interview subjects are buyers and operators of AI—not the companies selling it.
That distinction is deliberate.
Artificial Reality's reporting is designed to preserve the perspective of the people implementing technology inside real businesses. Product companies may appear in reporting when operators discuss them or when research identifies products relevant to a documented business need.
Founder & Editor: Galina Fendikevich
Galina Fendikevich founded Artificial Reality after working in machine learning on Wall Street, having a successful exit to a $9B company, and leading US go-to-market for an AI unicorn.
Her experience working between the companies building emerging technology and the businesses evaluating it led to a recurring observation: the people making the technology and the people expected to use it were often having very different conversations.
Artificial Reality was created to document the latter.
Work With Artificial Reality
Artificial Reality works with organizations seeking to understand and reach the businesses adopting AI.
